GOH SHOOK MEI
Goh Shook Mei is the founding of the Firm and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) degree (Second Class Upper Honours) from the University of Multimedia in 2011. She read in the chamber of Messrs Yee How & Tan and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2012.
Thereafter, she commenced her legal career as an associate at Cheong Yee & Partners. Her primary areas of practice are Sale and Purchase transactions, Loan Documentation, general litigation, contractual disputes, wills, probate and administration of estates, and family matters such as divorce, custody and guardianship, and maintenance.
TAN YONG YEE
Tan Yong Yee holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London and has completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). She served her pupillage in the chambers of Messrs. Shook Mei & Partners and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2026. Upon her admission to the Malaysian Bar, she continued her practice with the firm as an Associate.
Her areas of practice include civil litigation and dispute resolution, contractual disputes and debt recovery, wills, probate and estate administration, family law, including joint and single divorce petitions, and conveyancing.
With a keen interest in legal reasoning and advocacy, she enjoys exploring different perspectives, analysing legal issues and working towards practical solutions. She approaches each matter with an open mind and a willingness to learn, recognising that good legal practice requires not only a sound understanding of the law, but also clear thinking, sound judgment and an appreciation of the people behind each case.
